They told you wrong. They are rare but I’ve had three all together. I
don’t have her anymore, I placed her in a wonderful home. I have two female cream short hairs, right now. They are doxie-pins though. They are pure bred miniature dachshunds mixed with pure bred miniature pinschers

Gorgeous colour. Is it an English Cream? If so, is it short hair?
I’m in London UK and it’s impossible to get the cream in short hair here.
Apparently, the gene for the English Cream is only with the long haired Dachshund?
Would love some feedback on this issue as I’ve been looking for a ‘Tiny’ cream Dachshund pup since July – and on my journey I’ve discovered [or have been told that] there’s no such thing as a smooth coated cream Dachshunds.
