Three puppies found dead inside pet carrier off boat ramp

Coos County Sheriff’s deputies say they found three dead puppies inside a pet carrier floating off a boat ramp Wednesday.

Deputies were called to the Lakeside County Park boat ramp around 10 a.m.

All three puppies appeared to be about 3-4 months old, and were Dachshunds or Chihuahuas. They were all white with brown or black patches.

Deputies are hoping someone recognizes the carrier they were found inside.
