A teenage dog owner was left mortified after a photo of his newborn puppy was banned from Facebook – because animal lovers thought it was a penis. . But the innocent picture sparked trouble when someone reported it as an indecent image, mistaking the dog’s wrinkled body and pink head for something rude.  .The teenager posted the image to a local animal lovers group. But Facebook notified him that it had been removed because it ‘didn’t follow their community standards’. Having been initially upset, the teen eventually saw the funny side and decided to share the warning notification he was sent.It amassed more than 60,000 retweets, likes and shares.  Dominic, from Davao City in the Philippines, said: ‘When I look at it I always just see the puppy.’I got a notification saying it had been blocked a few minutes after I posted it to the group.’At that time I didn’t realise it looked like a penis because when I first posted it to Facebook all I saw was a photograph of an innocent puppy. ‘It actually made me really angry for a moment, but I feel better about it now because people find it hilarious.’I find it really funny that it’s causing all this attention. It just makes me happy that people find it so funny. ‘One person told me it was the best laugh they’d had for weeks.’ Although three-day-old pup Dimitri was born in a litter of three to mother Daisy, he is the only hairless puppy. And fame must run in the family because Dimitri’s hairless father Dante has become a local hero for looking like a character with the same name in Disney movie Coco.Dominic, who has 12 dogs altogether, said: ‘The hairless dogs are really quite rare where I live. Usually we don’t really see dogs without hair and it’s really funny to see one. ‘I love the breed. I actually used all of my savings to purchase Dante last year.’It’s fun going out with him because most of the people recognise him as the dog from Coco and say “Dante, Dante” – it’s like they know his name.’Dante is a bit of a celebrity here. I just want Dimitri to be happy like his dad.’I think the dogs would find it funny if they knew they were so famous.’
