Pygmy Goat Baby Playing with Mini Dachshund

Esme was one of triplets. The only little girl. She was much smaller than her brothers and couldn’t compete with them. She had a poor nursing reflex so we syringe fed her all weekend. She’s on a bottle now and doing very well. Still tiny. Here she is at 5 days old jumping around the living room (among the dog toys) and playing with our miniature Dachshund

  1. Haha what a cute little goat! The World of Warcraft forums took me here. Fish on! -Fishmonger, World of Warcraft Fishing Bot

  2. She is very very cute. kind of a silly question but can goats be toilet trained like dogs and cats? if not how do you stop them from going where they shouldn’t when they are in the house???

  3. @ThreeBallz Quite a few people have bought goats thinking that they’ll never need to mow the lawn again 🙂 The truth is though that they’ll often go for other plants first (the ones you don’t want them to eat), and if they do eat the grass it can be very patchy. But if all you want is a lawn that isn’t 8 inches tall everywhere and you’re happy with a rough look then it might work. Also when it rains they can make your lawn VERY muddy. Oh and you’ll need to get a friend for them.

  4. My kids and I are looking into getting some of these goats. I had read that the males can put out a bad odor when they’re not neutered. Is this true?

  5. this is cute. it’s EXACTLY what I want. When I saw this it was crazy. I want a dachshund and 2 pygmy goats and a cat but soo cute!

  6. I have always wanted a pygmy goat! Only problem is that I can’t own one where I am because I don’t have "farm land". Can’t get a ferret either. It makes me sad 🙁
