Old dachshund mix Dumped On Lawn With A Sad Note Seeks Help.
Reese, a 13-year-old dachshund mix, was recently found on the lawn of someone’s home in Fayetteville, Georgia
“I hope whoever gets this [will] please take care of my dog. I love her so much, but I don’t have time for her … I wish I didn’t have to do this, but I have four kids and no time for her,” the note reads
Luckily, the owner of the home took her home as soon as she noticed her
While this lady couldn’t keep Reese herself, she wrote a post about the dog in a private Facebook group, and someone tagged Royal Animal Refuge, a local rescue group, and shelter.
Lady asked one of Royal Animal Refuge’s veteran foster carers, Robyn Klein if she’d take care of Reese until they found her a home.
But when Klein’s mother, Suzy Reeves, laid eyes on Reese, she knew there was something special about the little dog.
Klein’s mom just lost her dog a few months ago, so she was happy to foster her
Klein’s mom fell in love with Reese at first sight and decided to adopt her instead
“She’s very happy to give her a home,” Weigand said. “She told me she’s going to be loved, and it’s a happy ending for Reese.”
