Madeline dachshund puppy with Crab part 2: The Crab Strikes Back!

Almost a year later, history repeats itself. Madeline is now a 2 year old dachshund and she finds herself playing with another pawleys ghost crab. I think the crab has the upper hand.

  1. daschund dogs are clever but very curious dogs… yeah it attacts to smaller animals but in this case the dog is playing… whes a dog is ready to attack is showing its teeth his tail and fur is straight up ( and the tail isn’t moving ) and the front legs stand complitely straight and don’t kneel or sth… so better learn something and after come and talk…

  2. Dear Diary – the day I feared has come – my nemesis and its giant mute sidekick have returned. They accosted me on the beach this morning. The aggressive one has gotten a little bigger, but so have I and when I saw their approach I resolved that I would not simply flee again. They flanked me on both sides, but I stood my ground and faced each one in turn, claws bared. They charged many times but kept their distance. I was eventually able to make a retreat to the water, which they seem to fear..

  3. Omg I just love doxies…they are the most cutest and lovable dogs ever. Ours is a chiweiner mix and we just love him to death!

  4. Dogs are just a great source of love + laughter! I chuckle every time I see this and I just HAD to share it!! Thank you for posting this! 🙂

  5. crab is saying "Sorry, oh sorry my good fellow, excuse me, thank you, excuse me, sorry, thank you, pardon me, excuse me…"

  6. I wish Ozzy Man would narrate this. 😀 😀
I especially love the equivalent of a cheeky wink the crab gives the camera @ 1:10

  7. You’ve clearly never seen a dachshund bent on killing a smaller animal. The dog’s hesitance to actually attack the crab demonstrates curiosity, rather than aggression, is its motivation.
