Today is the last day of the Russian holiday week – Maslenitsa (Shrovetide)! Maslenitsa is an ancient pagan holiday – end of the cold winter and the beginning of the long-awaited spring! And today the main event of the holiday – burning scarecrow symbolizing the winter!
But first you need to enjoy the holiday! Dress up in a traditional costume, go out to the square, dance, eat blini and of course play in traditional games! Despite the fact that I’m a small and cute dachshund dog – I’m very strong and I think that today I will become a champion in tug-of-war!
