2 weeks ago our Dachshund became paralyzed due to IVDD. 4 discs in his upper back went out. We ALMOST had him put down. Now he is fine with it. He will jump off the couch still, even without the use of his hind end! Wish he wouldn’t. He has began playing again! We ordered his wheels today. How do you put a price on love? How could we have him put down just because he is inconvenient? He is family as are most pets. Cruel is not giving them a chance. We gave Fritz a chance and he is glad we did.
