Hayden, 1 year old Dachshund, shows off some of her cutest tricks! These are examples of caught behaviors. Caught behaviors are behaviors that are performed naturally and then “caught”. They are caught in this case with a clicker, and then have a cue added to them, so that they can be asked for as a trick! All of the sound that Hayden is making are different sounds that she makes naturally when she is playing, and then each was given a different cue. Enjoy!
I’m envious! 😉 My dachshund is very quiet and hardly ever barks and I don’t think I’ve ever heard her growl. So I cannot catch these behaviours, but she can do loads of other tricks, if you want to have a look.
But I wonder that so many people comment on Dachshunds being difficult to train and stubborn. I cannot at all agree, my Livvy LOVES to train, she’s so eager everytime and learns so fast, she often leaves my quite dumbfounded. 😉
Too adorable! You are great at capturing! 🙂
It will be what a pretty dog
This is too funny to watch! Such a cutie.
caught behaviours are probably the easiest way to train a stubborn dachshund lol
What a clever little lady! I love these tricks; definitely can’t wait to see what else is in store for her future ones.
