Skow, Michael Douglas Age 66 Omaha. Passed away on May 12, 2018. Mike was born in Dallas, TX on March 12, 1952 and grew up in Council Bluffs IA, attending Thomas Jefferson High. He enlisted in the US Army in 1969 and proudly served his country. Mike worked in the banking business at both First National and Omaha National Banks, retiring 4 years ago. He was united in marriage to his wife Jenny in 1993. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Cubs and Steelers, and had a special love for Dachshunds. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Kathleen Skow; and Don’s second wife Charlotte Skow. Survivors include the love of his life, wife Jenny; children, Kerri Block-Skow (Geoff Geisler) of Council Bluffs, Michele Weiss (James) of Olathe KS, and Lori Watts (Brian) of Kearney, MO; 7 grandchildren: Kristen, Taylor, Paige, Shalynn, Kayla, Brody, and Kamryn; 2 great grandchildren, Jayce and Kara; and his beloved dogs, Mack and Mary. FUNERAL SERVICES: Wednesday 11am at Funeral Home, with a luncheon to follow also at Funeral Home. Interment: Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA. Memorials to Veterans Affairs preferred.
