They have the german rank and file gene. They are not afraid of anything who threatens them, other than their owner/alpha dog.. I have learned from my dog who is weiner mutt mix (awesummmm) that he values play like chess players value a match. Fun in learning and testing it out. Just got to be careful – they play as hard and rough as the macho boys who think they are tougher than a dachsie.
