Dachshund Cafe opens its doors to dog lovers
A new café is opening and it’s dedicated entirely to adorable dachshunds.
It’s a one-off event, so fans of the four-legged wieners will need to have their paws at the ready if they want to get involved.
Owners are invited to bring their furry friends, while the rest of us can simply get involved in the petting and cuddling action.
If you want a coffee with a side of sausage dog, head to The Happenstance in Paternoster Square near St Paul’s in London on August 19.
The Dachshund Cafe event is being organised by the team behind the Pug Café, who have run pop-up events in Manchester, London, Nottingham, Surrey, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton and beyond.
There will be a whole dachshund-themed menu on offer – including pupcakes and pawsecco, and entry includes free pupcorn and a pupuccino for every sausage dog.
Meanwhile, us humans can tuck into a range of cakes, pastries, hot food, smoothies, coffees and even some boozy treats.
The event costs £15 for Dachshund Lovers and a tenner for Dachshund Owners, with under-fives and sausage dogs able to attend for free.
The café can cater for groups of people, but they ask that the ratio of two humans to one dog is maintained where possible.
